Rabbit serum can be used for the study of serum proteins and antibody-mediated immune responses. Anti-Rabbit Serum antibody is specific for normal rabbit serum and has not been assayed for cross-reactivity with other species.

Specificity

Strong reactivity with normal rabbit serum has been determined by immunoelectrophoresis (IEP). This antiserum has not been assayed for interspecies crossreactivity.

Anti-Rabbit Serum antibody is suitable for use in immunoelectrophoresis.

Anti-Rabbit Serum antibody produced in goat has been used in the incubation of rabbit blastocyst prior to inner cell mass

Physical form

Goat anti-rabbit serum is provided as a liquid containing 0.1% sodium azide (see MSDS) as a preservative.

Storage and stability

For continuous use, store at 2-8 ° C for up to one month. For long-term storage, the solution can be frozen in working aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing are not recommended. Storage in “frost-free” freezers is not recommended. If slight cloudiness occurs after prolonged storage, rinse the solution by centrifugation before use.
